Make partition in Windows Vista without format

We can make partition in Windows Vista without format the hard drive because this feature is inbuilt in Windows Vista. But you can not make partition of whole free space of disk... for better result just defragment your hard disk then just follow some steps as i given here...
1.Right click on my computer then select manage.

2.After first step u can see that Computer management will open then just select on right side Disk management.

3.You can see that all drive and their space display here.
4.Select Drive ,which partition you want to make.As i select D Drive then click option Srink and select size as you want to make partition.

5.In end make new volume and format it as NTFS.

For any doubt comment here...
